  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar (optional, adjust to sweetness) Feel free to substitute honey for sugar.
  • 1 lime juiced Can substitute with lemon for a different flavor.
  • 2 cups water Use coconut water for a tropical twist.
  • to taste Mint leaves for garnish Adds an aromatic touch.

Preparation

  • Blend the watermelon cubes until smooth and pureed.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding any pulp.
  • Stir in the freshly squeezed lime juice and sugar, if using.
  • Add two cups of water to the pitcher and mix until well combined.
  • Serve the refreshing drink over ice and garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days. For extra refreshment, chill the watermelon cubes beforehand.
