Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Fresh salmon fillets (skin on or skin off)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • to taste Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This ensures your salmon cooks evenly.

Seasoning the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels to achieve a crispy skin.
  • Rub olive oil or melted butter on both sides, then season generously with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Cooking

  • Carefully place the seasoned salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overlapping.
  • Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  • Drizzle fresh lemon juice over the salmon, garnish with herbs, and it’s ready to enjoy!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the salmon back in the air fryer at a low temperature (around 350°F) for about 3-5 minutes. For longer storage, consider freezing the cooked salmon wrapped tightly in foil, where it can last for up to 3 months. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer for even cooking.
